Fox Interactive was a video game publisher and developer mainly concerned with titles based on 20th Century Fox properties, such as ''The Simpsons'', ''Family Guy'', ''Futurama'', the ''Alien'' and ''Predator 2'', and ''The Operative: No One Lives Forever'' , ''Predator'' film franchises, ''Independence Day'', ''Charmed'', ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'', ''The X-Files'', ''24'', the first two ''Ice Age'' films, the ''Die Hard'' series of films and others made by 20th Century Fox. They have also been involved with original titles, including ''Croc: Legend of the Gobbos''. ==History== Fox Interactive was formed in December 1994 and was an operating unit of Fox Filmed Entertainment, a News Corporation company. The company published, developed and produced games mainly for titles based on 20th Century Fox film and movie properties. Their first two games were ''The Pagemaster'', based on the film of the same name, and ''The Tick'', based on the Fox Kids cartoon series of the same name. Fox Interactive released both arcade games, ''Die Hard Arcade'' and ''The Simpsons Bowling''. The company became most well known for its ''Croc'', ''Aliens vs. Predator'', ''Die Hard'' and ''Charmed'' games. In March 2003, Fox Interactive was acquired by Vivendi Universal Games and closed down in 2006.
